Irish Citizenship Advisory & Application Support
Assessment of your possible Irish citizenship route and organised support through each stage of the application.
For adults, spouses of Irish citizens, parents or guardians of minors, refugees, and anyone who needs to confirm which route applies to their history.
BEFORE YOU APPLY
Citizenship is not the same process for everyone.
The correct route depends on your personal and immigration history. Time in Ireland, permission type, marriage or civil partnership with an Irish citizen, the applicant's age, international protection and previous applications may change the requirements.
Reckonable residence
Not every period spent in Ireland is counted in the same way for naturalisation.

The current citizenship rules have not changed yet.
The Government has announced proposals that may change naturalisation requirements, including residence, language, civic knowledge and self-sufficiency. At present this is a legislative proposal: final details, possible exceptions, transitional rules and commencement date still depend on the legislative process.
Do not delay or rush a decision based on headlines alone. First confirm your eligibility under the rules currently in force and understand how any future change could affect your case.
Read the current official guidance ↗Your journey starts with an individual assessment.
During the diagnostic consultation, we review the initial facts, identify the possible route and explain requirements, risks and next steps. Preparation and submission are later services, contracted by stage as needed.
